Hi I'm Karina

I'm working my way through college and majoring in geospatial intelligence. I'm not romantic. I'm a scholar. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As an Oregonian, I love going to the coast, hiking, rafting, and being around trees. However, I love being around my family even more.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true, so I am a lucky and loyal member. I know that Joseph Smith was chosen to restore the authority of God to the Earth. I know that the ancient authors of the Book of Mormon were guided and inspired of God just like current leaders of my church are guided and inspired. I know that I have also received personal revelation while making important decisions and changes in my life. I know that I'm not perfect at all, but I know that God loves me. Through His church, He can instruct me and direct me, and I can feel satisfied and confident in my faith while working to maximize my potential.

How I live my faith

My church provides a strong foundation for my life. It gives me endless opportunities to serve people. I have assembled hygiene kits, tied baby quilts, and picked pears to be distributed all over the world in cases of poverty and/or natural disaster. These projects have increased my love for people. I'm more aware and impressed by the strength of other people, and it makes me smile more and judge less.
