Hi I'm Terry

I serve in my area as the President of the "Relief Society", the oldest women's organization in the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six and a grandmother of eight. I spend a great deal of time keeping up with them all. I am an artist of several mediums and teacher of watercolor painting. I love the beautiful world the Lord has given us and I try to capture it on canvas and film. I am an essential oil specialist and teach classes on how to improve your health using essential oils and by making other healthy choices. I love to serve others and I am currently serving as the Relief Society President in my ward.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a loving family that were members of the Mormon church. They were great examples of how to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. My Parents taught me well and I always believed their words because of their actions. At some point everyone has to stop relying on what others believe and find out for themselves. I came to that point and I wanted to know for myself. I studied and pondered over the Book of Mormon and came to know of its truthfulness. Once you feel the conformation of the Spirit there is no denying it. I love the teachings of the gospel of the LDS Church. The doctrines found in the Church of Jesus Christ teaches you how to serve, to be happy and to follow the teachings of the Savior. I love to read of the Book of Mormon on a daily basis. When I have problems, trials or challenges, I find answers and comfort in its pages. The Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. I have been blessed in my life by following the commandments of Jesus Christ. I know the Lord loves me and knows what is best for me.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in my Church. I am currently serving as the Relief Society President in my area. I have the responsibility of the spiritual and temporal care of all the sisters in my ward area. The "Relief Society" is the oldest and largest women's organization in the world. Wherever you go in the world the Relief Society is there to care for those in need. As we meet each week we learn about the gospel and to love and support each other. We are united in the gospel of Jesus Christ and in serving others. I also serve as a Visiting Teacher by visiting a few sisters every month, teaching them and helping them if they are in need either spiritually or temporally. I have seen many lives changed by this program. Burdens have been lifted, spiritual needs have been met, and lives have been changed for the good. I also try to be an example and support to my family. I feel a responsibility to continue to teach my children and my grandchildren.
