Hi I'm Kelly

I grew up in Colorado work as a pediatric dental assistant, I am a mom a wife and a Mormon.

About Me

When I was 18 I found out I couldn't be a mother in the traditional way. For those who knew me back then they knew a mother was all I ever wanted to be. I became a Dental assistant in my 20s and worked with children in the field I love kids. My husband and I met we were married a year and started talking adoption. Our daughter came into our life a day before my husbands birthday and being a mom not only to those that come into my office but a mom to my daughter and a wife to my husband has been some of my greatest blessings in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because through his gospel I have an eternal family. Recently my daughter was in the hospital because of seizures when she first went in my husband and I didn't know if she would make it. I died as she laid there on the table with no life in her but through prayer I was able to feel my Saviors love for not only me but my daughter. I knew that even if she didn't continue on in this life that she would be in good hands. That we ARE an eternal family because we are members of his true church. And through his blessings if we are parted from each other in this life we will have each other in the next.

How I live my faith

For a long time I taught the 4 year olds in our church and what a blessing it was to see them grow and learn and start to grow in the gospel. I work now with the women in the church with visiting teaching where the women go out once a month to see how the other women in the ward are doing. What a blessing having friends check on you is. They always seem to show up when I need them the most. They are my friends and my sisters and am thankful every month for the blessings of Visiting teaching.
