Hi I'm Laura

I grew up military and have lived most of my adult life in New Hampshire. I'm happy to be a wife and mother of 4. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love that i grew up in the Air Force and had the opportunity to see the country. I also love that my husband and I are raising our four children in small town New Hampshire. I love to be outside but I love to read and would probably spend all day reading if I let myself. I have spent a lot of time with children in many ways, day care, teaching the children at church, being a mother, pto member, etc. I love my family and even though life isn't easy they sure make it all worth while. After a two decade lapse from school I just started taking college courses online and hope to earn my degree. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a "Mormon". I grew up LDS, but that is not why I choose to be now. I have gained my testimony slowly over my whole life. Little by little. I love the emphisis on the family that the church has and how everything is focused on getting us individually back to our father in heaven but with our families as well. I love the Savior and all that He has done for me and this is His church. Being mormon is being part of a community of people that have the truth in their lives and even though we're not perfect we love and help one another to be more Christlike. We have heaven on earth in the litteral sense even when being on earth isn't always heavenly.

How I live my faith

I have been a part of many organizations in the church and also in the community. I love to serve. I have taught the little children, youth, and the women in the church. I also serve by visiting a few of the women in the area to teach and check on their welfare, whether it's spiritual or temporal. I currently serve in the children's organization of the church which I think is so important because they need a good foundation to deal with the world as it is. I also try to be a good example, especially to my children.
