Hi I'm Kayleen

I'm a wife, Mother, a pretty good cook at least that's what my husband tells me, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a born and raised Georgia peach. I studied cosmetology and still enjoy doing hair every once in a while as a hobby. Currently I am a stay-at-home mom. I have been blessed with two beautiful little boys. I have always wanted to be a mother so having them has been a dream come true! In between diapers, dishes, and the never ending pile of laundry, I enjoy crafting, attempting to garden, and doing anything and everything with my wonderful family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith in Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father started as a young child. My family has always been active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's hard to say when I exactly came to know for myself that my religion was true because I've grown up feeling it my whole life. When I became old enough though, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. The warm feeling I got inside was enough for me to recognize that it most definitely was! Every time I read it again I get the same confirmation from the Holy Ghost. I KNOW that it is true!

How I live my faith

Currently I get to serve with the children in our congregation. I look forward every Sunday to listen to their sweet voices. Every Sunday I assign the kids to give a talk, scripture, and prayer. It is amazing to see their testimonies at such a young age and their willingness to get up in front of others to fulfill their assignments. There are many other opportunities I have been blessed with to serve. I help organize our monthly meetings for the women in our congregation, and I'm also assigned ladies to visit monthly to share a message, and be a friend to them. One of my favorite forms of service that I've been able to do is to drop off meals to people who have been sick, or who have just had a baby. Service is so awesome because it not only blesses those you serve but it also makes you feel so good to have been able to do something kind for someone else. Both parties are always blessed!
