Hi I'm Steph.

Me: MOM...TEAM, SCOUT, and CARPOOL mom. Me: MOM...PRAYERFUL, HOPEFUL, and HAPPY mom. Me: MORMON mom.

About Me

Old-fashioned stay-at-home Mom of six who has managed, somehow, to stay sane...baking cookies, cheering from the bleachers, chaffuering in the burb, cooking three meals a day, applauding at concerts, checking homework, folding mountains of laundry, and kneeling in family prayer.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is an anchor for me and I can't imagine my life without its guidance. There is so much confusion everywhere about what is right and the LDS Church teaches the truth in a simple and clear manner...so that I know what is eternal and right and good. I have hope for a bright future. I can be happy in hard times. I have peace and joy.

How I live my faith

Helping those in need--residents of a rest home, my children, a local school, BSA scouts, or neighbors down the street--is how I live my faith. By studying the life of Jesus Christ, I've learned that He made time for "the one," in fact, meeting the needs of others was His first priority. I want to be like Him, so I try to serve others...maybe it's just one person each day and a simple act--a phone call, a smile, or a loaf of bread--and I am happier when I live this way.
