Hi I'm Jason

I grew up on a small farm in a small town. I have been in Construction for 14 years and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the luckiest man in the world and have been blessed beyond measure. I have the most wonderful wife two wonderful daughters and a son. I have an amazing job as a superintendent for a well established commercial construction company in the bay area. I love to work hard and love to take on new challenges. I am passionate about baseball. Love the outdoors and enjoy it most when I am fishing and camping. I love spending quality time with my family and love to think of creative ways to spend that time together. I love the Snow and love going to the mountains during the fall and winter. The beach is also fun but is not as near to my heart as the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for many reasons. I have a testimony of the truthfullness of the teachings in the church. I gained this testimony for my self several years ago as a 19 year old. At this time I was not living a very chaste and high standard life. A dear friend of mine came to my house one day and invited me to pray to see what was true, and what my Heavenly Father wanted me to do in my life. I had not prayed in a long time before this moment but repected my friend so much that I promised I would. The next morning I stumbled out of bed said the most simple prayer I have ever offered. I said," Father, bless me that no harm will come upon me as I drive to work". 2 miles down the road I rolled my vehicle three times. The vehicle was so smashed I had to climb out the back window since none of the doors worked. It was in this moment that I realized that I had not a scratch or bruise on me. I had been kept from harm. In that moment I felt the love of my Heavenly Father sweep over me and knew that he was present in my life. Since that moment I have been actively trying to do what is right and follow the council of the living Prophet we have on the earth today. Each and everytime I pray to find the answer in the gospel the same feeling I had at my accident is the same spirit I feel confirming the correctness of my course. I am not perfect but love the church and how it helps me follow the teachings of my Savior. The church is perfect in it's teachings and true. It helps my relationship with my wife and my children and helps us all to grow together as well as closer to the Savior.

How I live my faith

I am a youth leader for the young men in our ward. I teach them gopsel principles and learn as I teach. I also help with the scouting program. I love my calling and have grown so much as I prepare and teach the boys life serving principles and help them in their transition to becoming good men who will live high standards and serve in the communities they will live.
