Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a wife, mother of 3, Wyomingite, former school teacher, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happily married mom of 3 children. I love staying home with them! Before having kids I was a computer teacher for K-6 and then I taught 2nd grade. I loved being a teacher! My goal is now to use that ability to teach my own children. I've often thought about homeschooling, but haven't quite gotten brave enough to take on that challenge! For now I just do preschool. I love to read, play with my kids, learn new things, camp, swim, golf, eat, laugh, meet new people and go on dates with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Wyoming with two sisters. My mom started going to church when I was little, so it's pretty much always been a part of my life. My dad never joined the church, but he supported us in going. He took me to seminary (church classes in high school) each morning on his way to work. The gospel started to become an important part of my life when I started attending seminary. That means so much to me now because that's when I became converted. About a year and a half after my dad passed away and during my senior year of high school, our family got sealed in the temple. There have been countless instances where I can look back and see Heavenly Father's hand in my life. Living the gospel has blessed my life in so many ways!

How I live my faith

My husband and I teach 7 and 8 year old children at church and that has been such a wonderful experience! They are so eager and ready to learn. I also get to visit various women in my neighborhood. From that I've learned that there is so much more going on than what I see in my little world. I've learned there are so many people who have needs and this church has given me an opportunity to find those needs and help where I can. I'm far from perfect, but I love the chance to give of my time to bless the lives of others. I feel I am constantly striving to better myself. Even though it's not always easy, it's always worth it.
