Hi I'm Sharon

I live in South Carolina. I am retired and spend most of my time with my family especially my grandchildren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I worked for many years for a major airline and now I fly to see my family who live in other states. I am retired. I love to read, watch movies and spend time on my computer. I graduated many years ago from Brigham Young University. I served as a missionary in Japan when I was 23 years old. My husband and I have recently served another mission to Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the Mormon Church when I was eight years old. My mother learned about the Church when I was seven. At that time she was baptized. I have always been grateful to her for her for this important decision. As an adult I have found for myself that being a member of this church is the most important thing to me along with my family. I love what the teachings of the church have done to help my life and the life of my family. I know this church teaches the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I love Christ and the sacrifice he made for me

How I live my faith

My husband and I recently returned from Japan as missionaries for the Mormon Church. We loved our experience there. Now I teach the young children about the church on Sunday mornings. I love teaching them because they are so eager to hear the things that I have prepared from them. I also visit three ladies from the church every month. We call this "visiting teaching." I love to visit these ladies to make sure they are doing okay and also to leave them with a spiritual thought for the month. I try to live my life as Christ would have me do.
