Hi I'm Bill

I'm a Mormon. It's hard to imagine life without Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.

About Me

I wasn't active in the Mormon Church until I was about 16. I had a pretty normal high school experience in Southern California. After graduation I was blessed with the opportunity to spend two years of my life in Canada serving a mission. My area was large. I started my mission in Southern BC and ended in the Northwest Territories. In between I was fortunate to serve in Calgary, Medicine Hat, and Edmonton. It was an amazing experience. Shortly after returning home I met my wife (now of 16 years). Went to college where I studied philosophy as an undergrad and then it was off to Law School for graduate work. Diploma in hand I did what most Law graduates do ... completely disregard my legal training and go into a different field. I've been involved in technology ever since graduating from Law School. My path has taken me from DBA to Developer to Project Management. My wife and I are blessed with 3 wonderful and amazing children. They mean everything to us. We love the Pacific Northwest. Moved here about 10 years ago from Southern California. This is a choice place to live and work.

Why I am a Mormon

My journey started in High School. After encountering a lot of "interesting" information about the Mormon church my interest was piqued. I started studying the Bible and Book of Mormon, challenged by friends to search out the truth for myself. That journey was not easy and not immediate. However, the answer did come through prayer and fasting. I love the teachings of the Restored Gospel. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. Through His grace and mercy we all have an opportunity to live with Him once more. His love towards me provides motivation to do my best always to live a life that is in harmony with His teachings. I love the Bible. From the stories of Moses to the teachings of Paul, the Bible is a remarkable work of scripture. We can learn so much those inspired teachings. I also love the Book of Mormon. As a companion to the Bible, the Book of Mormon reinforces many Biblical teachings. I love modern revelation. The words of modern day Prophets help provide direction in today's crazy world. I know that God still loves His children. He wants us to happy. He continually provides guidance and direction through his Prophet today. Finally, I love my family. Knowing that we are a "Forever Family" makes all of the difference. I look forward to being together forever.

How I live my faith

I do my best. I'm far from perfect (as my wife and children will attest) but I try to follow the example that my Savior set. I fall short every day. However, I know the Savior loves me and is patient with my weaknesses. I will never be perfect. However, because of the Atonement of Christ I can be saved. His saving grace is available to all who come unto him.
