Hi I'm Josh

I love my wife, kids, and family. I love running. I’m an Online Marketing Director and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I’ve been married for 9 years and I’m a father of 2 beautiful little girls and 1 handsome son. I am an Online Marketing Director and have worked for a marketing company in North Salt Lake, Progrexion Marketing, for 7 years. I graduated from Salt Lake Community College, but also attended BYU and Utah Valley University. I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my family in the outdoors. We love to take runs together as a family. Our favorite trip is to go scrambling through the slot canyons of Escalante, Utah. We love running, hiking, kayaking, and camping whenever we get a chance. I’m a proud father and am always amazed by the progress and growth my kids make each and every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was able to serve a mission for the church when I was 19 years old. I served the great people of the Central Valley in California (Fresno, Modesto, Reedley, Los Banos). It was an amazing experience and definitely was a defining moment in my spiritual life. The spiritual growth and learning I had on my mission had the single largest impact on my life and where I am today. I believe it was the main reason I was able to marry such an incredible woman. I have always had an appreciation for God and his son, Jesus Christ. As I have grown, I have realized how lucky I am to have grown up in a strong family and with a knowledge of God’s plan. This knowledge and appreciation has fueled my life with an even stronger appreciation and belief in the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This belief has grown and expanded within me as I’ve been able to raise a family and my appreciation for the details of God’s plan have become a larger part of my life as these beliefs have grown. I’ve had a great opportunity to get to know so many great people. I’ve found that each person comes with a unique background, a life of different experiences, and a different set of priorities. As I have had the chance to meet so many great people in so many different walks of life, my desire to share my feelings and beliefs has become more important to me.

How I live my faith

I enjoy having church on Sunday. It gives me a chance to take a break from our busy lives to learn more about God, Jesus, and the purpose of life. Life is busy with 3 young kids, but as parents we focus on spending good quality time together. We like to spend Monday night’s as a family and typically like to share a short spiritual story or lesson, then do some type of fun activity (we usually have about 10 minutes of their attention on the lesson!). I enjoy reading the scriptures - the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other scriptures. It’s hard to find the time, but I never regret it when I am able to break away to do it. I love getting to know the great people in the church. I am always surprised by the path that people have taken to be where they are today.
