Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in what is now known as Surf City, California. I play board games and role playing games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play computer and board games mostly now, but I have a Wii & Sega Dreamcast. My game collection includes dozens of card and board games and a handful of games like GURPS, Role Master and Dungeons & Dragons. The game is one of the best parts of our family home evenings. Each of our three children love to pick the game for the night.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents joined the church before my birth. I remember fondly the time we spent together serving at the welfare farms or making pizzas for fundraisers. As I look back of all the books I've read, the one book that I've read more than any other is the Book of Mormon. I actively think about what it is to be a disciple of Christ. It is my testimony that God loves us. We are His children. He wants us to live in a manner that brings happiness. His love is so vast that it brings tears to my eyes. I can show my love by serving my fellow beings.

How I live my faith

I strive to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ by serving. I visit, call and write letters to others members of the Church. I seek to learn the names of people and show respect by using their names. When I see scraps of litter as I am in the way, I pick it up to beautify our community.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Chris
We are all children of a loving Father in Heaven. He loves us and wants us to be happy. We can look toward eternity with a hope of forgiveness and healing our wounded souls. His commandments help us to lead lives of purity and peace. Each of us on Earth have both strengths and weaknesses. We are privileged to call upon Him to help us overcome temptation and live in His paths. As we strive to follow His commandments, he will bless us with strength to overcome, peace and joy.
