Hi I'm Tracy

Happily married with two boys and a baby on the way. I am an exercise junkey. I love my job. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a devout Mormon that beleives in God and Jesus Christ. I love being the father of two boys 5 and 18 months. I love wrestling with my oldest and playing outside with my youngest. My wife is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. She is the love of my life. I couldnt have asked for a better wife. I love bodybuilding. It brings out the best in me because it pushes me to the limits of self-control and perseverence. This has helped me become a better husband, father and employee. My work is exhilarating. I work at Mercy Hospitals of Bakersfield in Process Improvement. I love helping nurses, physicians, managers and directors improve thier work so we can provide the best possible care while using our resources wisely. This type of work can bring great satisfaction because a better process can save lives. In my spare time I love taking my wife to the movies. There is nothing like a soda, a bag of popcorn and a great movie, with my wife sitting next to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up mormon and so our of tradition I followed my parents. But when I was 20 yrs old I knew I had to really know for myself if being Mormon was what I really wanted. I am a Mormon because I have recieved a spiritual witness from God that the things the Mormon Church teaches is true. I am also Mormon because there is no dought that I am a better husband, father, friend, provider, son, employee, brother, etc. than I am without the church. The church expects a great deal out of you and thats because God and his Son, Jesus Christ, are trying to mold great men and women to be a light in a day of darkness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by volunteering my time and energy each Tuesday and Wednesday to helping teach young men principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Service is one great trait that Christ exemplified. Serving the young men is a priviledge. I live my faith my following the teachings of Christ by being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous and in doing good to all men. Lastly, I live my faith by standing up for it when I here or read untrue things about it. For example, Mormons are not Christians. To that I answer, I belong to The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Mormons first and foremost believe in Jesus Christ, that he is literally the Son of the Living God. Mormons beleive that Christ established his Gospel when he was alive. However, because his apostles were killed, others began to change the original teachings of his church. Many of the precious truths were lost and there was a falling away from the truth 2 Thessalonians 21-3 Acts 2029-30. Mormons believe that Jesus Christ began to restore His Church in its fulness to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith in 1820. It has grown to become a worldwide Church with over 13 million members. It has the same teachings and basic organization as the Church established by Jesus in New Testament times. Mormons believe the Bible to be the word of God. We also beleive the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and that the two books go hand in hand to let the whole world know that Jesus is the Christ and that he will return to rule and reign again.
