Hi I'm Mary

I'm a quilter. I'm a blogger. I'm a mother and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Nevada, then made my way to college in Utah. That's where I met my husband. After graduation, we both made our way back home and started our family on a dairy farm. We love living a simple life: gardening, spending time with family, enjoying our home and child. I enjoy quilting, crafting, blogging, and staying at home with our baby.

Why I am a Mormon

In the simplest terms: I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. I choose to live my life this way because it provides the best guidelines to help me and my family to live a fulfilled life. It gives my life purpose and meaning. It helps me to be a better mother and wife. I choose to be a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I'm very involved with our church group in our town. My husband and I attend Sunday meetings where I help with the teenagers. We get together and I give lessons, provide support and guidance, and organize weekly activities for the girls in our group. I enjoy working with youth, so I'm happy to help. I've gained so much from my relationships with them. I enjoy teaching them and spending time with them.
