Hi I'm Ben

I live in Idaho. I'm an internet marketer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an internet marketer, an entrepreneur, and an e-commerce business owner. I enjoy working with websites and helping small businesses grow. I compose music on the piano when I have the chance. I have two sponsored CD recordings of some of my music. One of my favorite places to be is on the beach exploring the coastline – It's funny to think we live in Idaho. I've been lucky enough to be raised on the west cost not too far from the beach and I've had the opportunity to spend some time in Honolulu. I'm also a husband and father of three with two boys and a girl. I'm very proud of my family and love them tremendously. I come form a family of 10 kids with five boys and five girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS family. My father and mother joined the church when they were around 18 and 19 years old. I always felt the church was true but received a sure testimony for myself when I was 18 years old. I was reading the Book of Mormon for the first time and came across Alma 29: 1-10. It expressed exactly how I felt inside and I knew that the Book of Mormon was true. I also noticed that since reading the Book of Mormon my life had changed. I was making better choices and I was happier. I worked and saved up all my money. When the time came I went on a two year mission completely paid for with the money I had saved. Using my own money to pay for my mission has been a great blessing because it helped me to use my time wisely while serving my mission. I continue to live the gospel because I know it's true. I know that any other way of living will not bring me the happiness and confidence that I have felt as I have lived the gospel. The gospel makes sense and I do my best to live by it.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings in the many wards that I have been apart of. I've had callings ranging from leadership and teaching to assigning people to teach. I always feel inadequate when I'm asked to be a teacher and a leader of some kind. But I do my best and the Lord helps me out. I've come to realize that the callings I get are not because I'm good at what I've been asked to do, but because there is something I need to learn. And sometimes it's humbling the things that I've learned. But that's the point. We go to church to learn and to become better. Sometimes it's not easy, but it's always worth it and I'm grateful for it. Other ways that I live the gospel is by visiting the families each month that I've been assigned to look after. My wife visits the women she has been assigned to look after each month. My wife and I also pay 10% tithing from every paycheck without hesitation because we know that the Lord blesses those that pay their tithing. My wife and I have a testimony of that. We have been blessed countless times to always have everything we need and then some and we know it is because we pay our tithing without fail. We attend church every Sunday and my wife goes early to practice singing in the quire. We attend all of our meetings and participate as much as we can. When we have the opportunity we share our testimony with others. We teach our children the gospel regularly and read the scriptures to them and pray every night before bed. We pray at every meal and let our kids take turns praying so they can learn. My wife and I talk about the gospel and about our kids and discuss our concerns we have about our kids and what we can do to be better parents. We read our scriptures, say prayers regularly and go to the temple. All these things help us to live the gospel and have a happy life together. Some days are more difficult that others, but we know it's the right way to live and we do our very best.
