Hi I'm Jan Laureen Hendrickson

I was born in IA/married/5 children/2 grandchildren. I love to read my scriptures, do puzzles, play organ and sing! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mason City, Iowa close to the farm where I was born. I love reading my Scriptures, planting flowers, sewing and setting a beautiful table for great dining and conversation. My passion is music - singing, playing piano and organ, and directing choirs. I am married, have 5 children and 2 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe God has revealed Himself to us once again in this last dispensation of time to establish His church on the earth through the power of the priesthood. He has given us the keys to build up His kingdom on earth until Jesus Christ comes to rule and reign. He has given us a living prophet, President Russell M Nelson, to lead and guide the church in all good things with the family as the primary unit. Families can be together forever. This is so wonderful!

How I live my faith

My husband and I are primary teachers of 9 year olds who are turning 10 this year. Spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ is the most important aspect of our life. One of the best things about being Mormon is that we are called to a certain position and it helps to utilize the gifts that God has given us to nurture and guide others into a more abundant life here on earth. God's plan for each of us is unique, but it should lead us back to Him, our creator and Heavenly Father.
