Hi I'm Matt Montgomery

I love eating Fufu, going on a good run in the morning, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mormon Missionary in the England, London Mission. I always want to give my all and do my best.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has influenced my life in every way. Through reading the scriptures, saying my prayers, and obeying the commandments, I have been able to live my life in the happiest way possible.

How I live my faith

By serving a mission I am serving the Lord in the best way I know how. Giving my all for Him and doing what he wants me to do is the best thing I can do in my life.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Matt Montgomery
Being a Mormon means making a commitment to helping others, regardless of who they are or their religious backgrounds. We believe in following Jesus Christ and his most important attribute was charity towards others. Being a missionary is helping me see how God loves all his children and wants us all to be happy. When we try to do what he would want us to do, we naturally help those around us. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Matt Montgomery
We believe that we are on this earth as spirit children of our Heavenly Father, and that we did come from somewhere, we are here for a purpose, and we will continue to exist after this life. The Plan of Salvation explains and shows a divine plan God has made for us even before this earth was created. We came from our Heavenly Father to this earth, our purpose in this life is to do what God has told us will make us most happy and how we can return to be with him after we die. I am so grateful for this knowledge because it helps me find hope and faith that what I am doing in my life is what God wants me to do. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Matt Montgomery
Knowing if our church is true, quite simple actually. We need to understand what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe, we need to observe people in this church and see how following these teachings has helped them in their lives, and the last step I believe is to pray and ask God if this is true, and be willing to act on the answer we receive. It's that simple, and it's from that process that I've come to know that this church is from God and is His Son's, Jesus Christ's, church on this earth. Show more Show less
