Hi I'm Sonja

I grew up in Idaho, graduated from BYU, married, and am a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I loves life and learning and serving. My live has been blessed with marvelous experiences that keep my testimony strong, including the happiness and heartache that accompany my various roles in life. Most of my free time is involved with family history, reading, or helping others in any way I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and was blessed with the gift of faith. Therefore, it has been easy for me to see and understand the reality of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in these last days.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings regularly. I truly want to be there each Sunday to renew my covenants made at baptism by partaking of the sacrament and to learn from our church leaders and fellow church members. I have had church callings with every age group and in all of the church auxiliariy organizations over the years. My present calling is as a family history consultant and a visiting teacher, both of which have given me opportunities to learn, share, and enjoy wonderful friendships. One day a week I serve in a local family history center and one day a week in the temple. Hopefully, my life will help my posterity stay close to their Savior and to their Heavenly Father.
