Hi I'm Kelli Mosley

I'm a wife and mother. I love to hang out with my family. I love traveling and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time mother of two young children. I enjoy it when my husband gets home from work and their faces light up welcoming him home. We love doing anything as a family. I also enjoy having some personal time as well. I like to swim, act, scrapbook, sing, and dance. I love the beach. We do many little vacations with our family. We like to travel and I don't mind a crowd. I care deeply about others. I enjoy listening to others and helping them in any situation. I've already experienced a lot in my life with many health problems, including fighting pancreatitis. I have close friends from all backgrounds and religions. I'm a pretty happy person but definitely have my days of gloom. I like dancing in the family room with my daughter. My life seems pretty busy but I try to find time to enjoy the little moments with my children. The most important part of my life is my Savior, Jesus Christ and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe from my heart and soul that every gospel principle is true. I feel the spirit at church and at home when we pray, listen to wholesome music, and read the scriptures, both The Book of Mormon and The Bible. I love that this church focuses so much on family. I know that the Prophet today, who is President Monson, speaks for God for our times. I have had the healing power work in my life from the power of God. I received blessings when I was in the hospital with gallstones and pregnant. I was going to lose my child if a stone did not pass and after a week in the hospital the doctors said I was lucky it passed on its own. I could feel the power of God and my Lord holding my hands through that time. I know the power of the Priesthood is real. I have a relationship with my Savior. He is my example and died for me and my sins. I am married to my love for time and eternity because of the sealing blessings given in the temple. We can be together forever with our little family. Forever is even after death. I have hope because of the knowledge I have about Jesus Christ's gospel. And it also makes me want to work harder in my marriage because it is eternal. I believe there are a lot of churches out there that have similar beliefs but this is the church that holds all of the truths. I'm a happier and more pleasant person when I'm living righteously.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying to my Heavenly Father. I want to talk with him and thank him for my blessings I've received. Also, to ask him for things I need. I teach and serve about 12 young women ages 12-18 in my church area. We get together once a week and do many different activities. We also teach them about gospel principles for an hour every Sunday. My main goal is to help them know that they are a Daughter of God and are loved. I want to help them, given that in the world today, girls are confused about who they are, how they should act, and their seeking approval from the wrong people. We try to encourage many principles, including, dressing modestly, using kind words and actions, respecting themselves and others, having good friends, surrounding themselves with wholesome things, and keeping physically, spiritually, and morally clean. I voluntarily give my time and efforts because I know the Lord wants me to and because I learn from the experiences I have with them. I have been blessed in many ways serving in the church. It helps me forget about myself and allows me to feel the love of God.
