Hi I'm Nathan Frame

I'm an Osprey pilot in the United States Marine Corps, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small town south of Kansas City, KS and after high school I had the amazing opportunity to serve a mission in Cape Town, South Africa. Once I returned I met my wife and after a lengthy courtship of 8 months, were married. Once married I began to attended college and pursued my dream of being a U.S. Marine Corps Aviator. While in college my wife and I had two beautiful girls. It wasn't until my second daughter was born that our lives changed forever. Things went wrong during the labor and it resulted in my sweet daughter suffering a severe brain injury. We held on to hope, but it soon became clear that our sweet girl would never walk, talk, or even swallow. Trying to balance college, family, and work soon became a lot more difficult, but due to my wife I was able to continue to pursue my goals and I was commissioned as an officer in the Marine Corps. A couple years later I completed flight school and now fly the amazing MV-22 Osprey in the Marines. The feeling of accomplishing your dreams is something you can't explain, but I know I couldn't have done it with the love of a beautiful family and a loving God that lifted me up through those tough years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but as you get older it's important that you question the faith of your parents. I didn't want to be a "Mormon" because my parents were Mormon. So, I looked from the outside in. I questioned everything. I knew there was someone that could tell me if the things that I had been taught were true and that's our Heavenly Father. I prayed several times and each time I received that calm peaceful feeling that confirmed my beliefs. I know that God lives and that His Son Jesus Christ is our personal Savior. I know that the Bible is the word of God. I also know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of the divinity of Jesus.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being me. I try to be kind and charitable. I try to live my life in a way that would bring honor to my family, my country and most importantly to my God. I'm a church going man in a time when going to church isn't cool or popular. I live in the world, but try not to be of the world.
