Hi I'm Ethan Adams

I'm from Oklahoma. I like guitar... and rocks. I love my family, and making people laugh. I am random.. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing guitar and singing, mostly acoustic. I love being around my friends and family. I love to play all sports and I love climbing things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us and it is a perfect plan. He loves us, and everything about it makes sense. It has always made sense in my head and I have prayed to know of it's truth. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and made it possible for me to return to live with Heavenly Father and my family. I know that I can be with my family forever after this life. I know that Jesus Christ lives and wants us to follow him and has set great examples of how we can.

How I live my faith

I served a mission in the Indianapolis Indiana Mission. I have served in Franklin (Whiteland, Edinburgh, Nineveh, Trafalgar), Goshen, Plymouth, Westfield (Carmel), Lebanon, Fort Wayne, Elkhart, Fishers, and Indianapolis (White River). I was able to help share this wonderful gift I have been given with other people, and will continue to do so. I want other people to be happy as I am. I want them to feel God's love as I do. The song, "I Will Not be Still" explains it better than I can. "I've never been the kind to testify, I don't have the words His truth deserves. But it's a simple thing He asks, a worthy heart and willing hands. He says if I make the choice, He'll help me find my voice. He calls me to serve and I can not fail Him. The one who has given me all that I have. I put my trust in Him alone, He knows the yearnings of my soul. Because He believes in me, I will go willingly. Lifting the hands that hang down in sorrow, strengthening knees that bend in despair. Reaching the hopeless hearts who do not know His love. Seeing their lives begin to change, I know I'll never be the same. How can I keep this gift to myself, when I can lift somebody else. I'll be a witness of His miracles and His mercy. I put my future in His hands, knowing He's made me all I am. When I put my faith in Him the truth begins to speak. His power is real. It moves me until I will not be still."

It is symbolic. You are giving up your old lifestyle, it is "dying" in a sense, being buried under water, then we are "born again" when we come out of the water.
