Hi I'm Brent

I grew up in the US and have lived and worked in various countries around the globe. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud father of five beautiful children. My wife and I have been married for 13 years. I enjoy meeting getting to know people of all different backgrounds, traditions, and faiths. I am open to others ways of thinking and try to see things from their perspective. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy college football.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had amazing experiences as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but I am member, not because of those experiences but because of the quiet peace and assurance from the Holy Ghost that this is the Lord's true Church, restored in our time. I have read and studied and continue to read and study the Book of Mormon and have felt and continue to feel what I would describe as being infused with light and love as I do so. I have listened to modern prophets and apostles, tried to follow their counsel and have been greatly blessed by doing so. I have had sacred personal experiences which affirm my testimony that God is our loving Father, he sent his perfect Son to save us, and we can live with them again after this life. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me great happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith, not just on Sundays but every day. To me this means doing small things, like smiling and being a friend to a co-worker, helping my neighbors with their yard work, and volunteering my time to serve in various ways. In my current church calling, I visit the homes of families and seek to help them with their needs. I also teach lessons in Church on Sunday.
