Hi I'm Caleb.

I'm an entrepreneur, a gamer, a big dreamer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of 4 boys, and sports was always our main source of entertainment. After high school I was able to serve a mission for 2 years in Frankfurt, Germany. Since coming home I have gotten married, had 2 wonderful boys, graduated with a degree in International Business, started a small business, and have started a career. I love the idea of having my own business for me and my family, and plan on continuing those types of investments the rest of my life. I am also fortunate to have a good job with a linen company, where I have the time and freedom to enjoy my family while still being able to support them in these economically rough times. I still enjoy getting to play sports, and have always been a huge home entertainment enthusiast. Whether for games, movies, music, or instruments, I love putting together sound systems for family or friends. My hobbies can change from time to time, but spending time with my wife and kids is always the most fulfilling.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, and even though we didn't attend every function in my youth, the church was a big enough presence for me to appreciate what it brought to my life. I grew up knowing I had a Heavenly Father, and that he had set out a plan for me to come and live with him again. I knew of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for me, by giving up his life for my (and all of our) sins. Granted I have definitely come to understand this more with my trials and maturity, but the difference even a base knowledge of our Heavenly Father's plan can make for an adolescent is life changing. I had good friends, with the same standards I did, most of them were not Mormons themselves. That same understanding and conviction has grown up to this day. Religion and faith are meant to be lived, and for me, the effects the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has on someones life is immediate and long lasting. True happiness and understanding can only come through its teachings, and the only place to find all of these truths is in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The church helps me be a better me.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints asks a lot of its members, but then again so did Jesus himself. Normal church meetings are 3 hours on Sunday, and then maybe a few meetings here and there throughout the week, depending on what your responsibility is in the ward/congregation. I have been serving with the young men for the past 7 years. I have spent a lot of time on Boy Scout activities over that time, and have also been able to teach lessons on Sundays. I live my faith by keeping my standards no matter where I am, and in the business world that means on the road or at company functions with free wet bars. Whether its co-workers or clients I will always get a few questions in these situations, but have always enjoyed getting to share little tid-bits of my beliefs in settings where you normally wouldn't find them. I believe in doing the best you can and constant improvement. I go to church, visit the temple, and pray every day in between.
