Hi I'm April

I come from an Italian Catholic family, I'm a stay at home mom, I'm an adult convert, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young adult, with 1 son. I'm a stay at home mom. I go to school part time, and support my husband in his schooling. I believe an education is important in every life, and will continue to learn as long as I can. I believe each person is an individual and should be treated as an individual. I'm adopted, and believe that every child deserves loving parents, whether they are born to those parents or not. I love to read, and to bake, but I hate to cook and sew. I love to play sports and would love to coach.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm an adult convert that was baptized 2 weeks after I married my husband. I choose to learn more about the church because I felt a connection with my Father in Heaven as I prayed, instead of letting others do it for me. I felt the truth of the eternal family, and the truth to the Plan of Salvation. I know my family can be together forever, and that I will see my deceased family again. I know the truth of temple work, and that even those who never got to hear it while they were alive can hear the message now. I also believe in forgiveness, and that each person can move on from mistakes made, and that I have been forgiven of mine.

How I live my faith

I get to go to church each week and hear others just like me share a message of hope and faith. I have taught young children about their Father in Heaven's love for them. I have worked with cub scouts and seen them grow into themselves. I get to visit my sisters and serve them, and I get to be visited, and know that they will be there for me when I need them. My family gets to have men who watch over us and will always be there to help, and my husband gets to visit families and serve them. I get to share my faith with others as they participate in my life.
