Hi I'm Al

I am a convert since 1973. I was baptized in the Atlantic Ocean. I live in the Atlanta Georgia area. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert of over 37 years. As a former Methodist, I was searching for answers about life's greatest questions and the Latter-day Saint faith answered those for me. Since that time, I have consistantly active in my faith. My wife and I are very happy and fulfilled. We have three children between us... which we are all very proud of. I have owned and operated a sucessful business for over 20 years now in the Atlanta, GA area. This gives me the freedom to actually play professionally in a band several times a month. I play amplified harmonica in a Classic Rock and Blues band at sereral established venues here in the city.

Why I am a Mormon

Once again... I was able to have some very real and fundamental questions about the very purpose of life that truly caused me to become a Latter-day Saint. There were a great many other things within the LDS faith that caused me to be baptized and follow the Savior, Jesus Christ. But the true event that won me over was the repeated manifestations of the Holy Spirit touching my soul as I listened to the missionaries teaching me the Savior's Gospel. Those same spiritual witnesses came to me as I heard the, "First Vision" story and as I read in the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

Over the last 35 plus years, I have held many callings in the Latter-day Saint faith. When I was younger, I also served the Lord by spending two years in the state of Washington. This, I found to be tremendously helpful to not only others who I met... but to myself, as well. I was able to grow and mature in so many ways. In addition to being called to several positions of leadership over the years... I presently serve our Adult Singles in our congregation. They are choice men and women and my wife and I love to be there for them.
