Hi I'm Michelle

I was raised in a small town in Utah. I served a mission to Indiana. The gospel is part of my everyday life.

About Me

I am a mother of three boys and one girl. I am married to an amazing man who is my best friend. My family means the world to me and I love being a mother. At times it is frustrating and challenging to be a mother but oh, so rewarding. I stay at home with them so I have many experiences that I treasure. I like to read, do something creative, and enjoy being our in nature. I love pedicures and could not live without lotion.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The gospel teachings bless my life daily. Knowing I have a Father in Heaven and a elder brother that is my Savior brings such peace and comfort to my soul. They are always there for me. They love me dispite my weaknesses and challenges. They want me to be the very best I can and have provided many tools for me to do this. I am grateful for the Scriptures that help me to learn mor of them and the Savior's life and example. For the teaching of Prophets and their example of faith. For the opportunity I have to pray and have that relationship with them. The Atonement, which gives me that chance to change, improve myself, and be free of spiritual pain and guilt. Not just the pain I have caused myself but also the pain others have caused me. How amazing forgiveness is. To both give and to recieve. How grateful I am for the direction on the Spirit that comforts, warns, protects, witnesses, and testifies of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. It helps me to know I am making good choices in my life and when others need service. My family relationships are the most important thing in my life. To know those relationships are not just for this life but eternal makes those bonds even more precious.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth. These young people are so amazing. We talk and teach about values such as faith, being children of God, their individual worth. How their choices have consequences and affect others. That knowlege is so important, not just school, but spiritual knowledge also. We teach service and how important it is to have integrity and be a virtuous person. It is fun to see them use these values in thier lives and see how they think of others and serve and bless their lives. I also enjoy getting together with women of our faith for lessons or activities that strengthen me as a mother, wife, friend, and a daugher of God. Serving others is something I really enjoy. With four children within six years my life can be crazy, but small acts of service and looking beyond yourself and your situation is so uplifting and rewardinng.
