Hi I'm Cynthia

I'm a wife, mother and friend. I have a desire to make the world a better place. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mom, a doTERRA consultant, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a neighbor. I'm driven to make a difference in the world, to take the abundance of blessings I have in my life and share them with others. I love travel and adventure - exploring new places and cultures(though most of that has been done through books, at this point) and meeting and learning the stories of other people. I love following dreams and am currently supporting my husband in following his dreams of moving our family to Arizona where he can pursue an aeronautical engineering degree to allow him to follow his lifelong passion of designing airplanes. I want my kids to know that making dreams a reality is important! Life is short...do what you love and life life to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a strong Mormon family, attending church every Sunday, getting baptized when I was 8, and learning the importance of the principles of our faith from the time I was small. I gained my own personal testimony that what was taught in our church was true, but it was a step by step process. My faith in Christ, my faith in His living prophets, and my love of the scriptures has grown over the years, and continues to grow and strengthen as I raise my family and progress in life. I'm a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has whispered to my heart on countless occasions that the doctrine of this church is true. It makes sense to me, it rings true to me, and it brings me joy, contentment, and peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every single day. It is a part of who I am and what I do. I read from the scriptures every day to gain clarity, strength, and peace. I pray to my Father in Heaven to thank Him for blessings, and ask Him for help. My husband and I gather our children together to attend church every Sunday where we can be instructed and edified. We hold a Family Night every Monday evening where we teach our children principles of faith and doctrines of our religion, and to have fun, bonding time together. I have taught high school youth in an early morning religion class and felt of their strength and integrity. I have taught music and gospel principles to young children and also felt of their purity and desire to follow Christ. I hold the temple as a sacred and important part of my religious life and I go there to worship often. I encourage my children to look forward to the time that they may also attend the temple. I was a missionary for my church in Buenos Aires, Argentina when I was 21 years old, and have always found great joy in sharing the wonderful beliefs of our religion with others. Faith in not simply ones beliefs. It is beliefs that lead to action...beliefs that form who you are and how you live, how you serve and interact with others, and it determines what priority God has in your heart.
