Hi I'm Drew

I'm from Southern California. I'm a novice rock climber. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying business. I take pleasure in almost all things. I'm the oldest of five and I have parents who love me. Family is first. I believe in all gospel principles and I love to discuss them. I do not know all things but I enjoy learning as much I enjoy speaking. Growing up, I was involved in many school auxiliaries student government, drama, football, wrestling, track, choir. I love being busy and I love relaxation but only when I'm in the mood either. I'm social, but if I'm out of my element it may take time for me to exploit my true self. I like trying new things. I've recently discovered that I have a slight fear of hieghts. I hate cats, but I mean that more out of jest and the fact that I am allergic to them. Musicals and the arts are something I enjoy, as much as I do sports in their many colors and variaties. I feel that if you truly wanted to know who I am, you have to make an effort to meet/get to know me. I love people. People add purpose to my life. The influences we make on each, help us grow. I like to have fun, although I am at times serious or judicial. I expect more from those I know then those I don't. I lean towards the side of mercy and love. I'm very warm blooded as in I get hot easily. I love sushi and the beach, no matter the weather.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of great parents who taught me what they know. I have a mother who believes her children are the best. That confidence has helped me establish who I am and a knowledge that I can do anything I want, which comes from obeying the Lord. I have a father who has taught me through example. He is the best man I know and my goal is to be as good as he is and better. I find him practically balanced. Smart enough to understand, obeident enough to follow through, spiritual enough to be in tune, fun enough to invest his time with youth, and man enough to be consistant in my eyes. My parents have helped me out a lot along my growing up stages in life. Independant of my influences, I had to make my choice to be a member of the LDS Church. I have learned that living this gospel is the best way to be happy. With my love for people, I have come to know many and how they live their lives. Many are happy, many seem happy, others think the are happy, and others know they are not. I have learned through my own choices and the choices of others this truth. Not only has this been a testimony to me, be the Holy Ghost has impressed upon me many times that I will find happiness here. I am a Mormon because I prayed to know for myself if the Book of Mormon is true. I recieved an answer and I know that it is a true book. With that knowledge, I knew that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that inturn, I knew that Christ's church was on the Earth again. I am a Mormon because of the faith I have in the atonment. I know that God has a plan for me and I can do anything--I mean anything--if I so choose to do so. I have been greatly blessed to know these things and it is my pleasure to tell all who'll listen about this wonderful truth that God lives, that Jesus is the Christ, and that His atonement provides a gateway for you and I to return home to our Heavenly Parents.

How I live my faith

I am currently an instrutor during one of the hours of church. I have never held a teaching possision before and I am very exciting to have that oppurtunity to teach a class room group. I enjoy reading and pondering spiritual subjects and understanding of things I don't know. I attend a ward service with other single adults every week for the purpose of learning of reviewing gospel principles. I engage in missionary work when ever the opportunity is there. I look for for those opportunities more heavily in my life when I feel so desirous, which is something I can work on. I do what I can to live my faith, but it is never enough because of how greatly blessed I've been. I am not by anything means perfect but I know what I stand for, who I am, and who I represent. "If you live it you'll be happy, if you don't you won't."
