Hi I'm Misty

I live in Nevada, I am a Wife, Mom, Author and Photographer and I am a Morman!

About Me

Excitedly I can tell you that I am a wife to an amazing and supportive husband and that I am a mom to four beautiful kiddos. I am also a published author. I write paranormal / fantasy / romance, and under a pen name I write LDS / Christian fiction. Aside from being a mom, writing, reading, drawing, and all kinds of crafts are things that I love to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I ate the "Mormon Brownie". Actually, that's just an inside joke between myself and one of my best friends. I was asked to go to a church dance with my friend (now husband) and I was nervous. I told my best friend who was a member of the Church as well as he was, "I won't have fun, and I'm NOT eating anything!" Well, as soon as I entered the building I could "feel" something different. I danced and started to relax. Then, I ate a brownie that was on a dessert table. (now you can see where the joke starts) Anyway, within the next week, after seeing how everyone was that night, and "feeling" that feeling that still makes me smile (that I now know as the Spirit) I started asking questions to my two friends. The next week I met with missionaries. Best thing I ever did!

How I live my faith

Living with faith is hard, I am not going to lie. In this day and age there are all kinds of things that try to tempt, but having faith makes turning away from them a little easier. I love my ward and all the people that have become like family to me. I love to serve them, and with them, whenever the opportunity is presented.
