Hi I'm Jenny

I love to hear my children laughing. I love being a mother and wife and knowing my family will be with me forever. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Ohio, my parents learned of the gospel through a friend and ever since I was 4, I was raised in the Church. I am now married and have 3 beautiful children and a wonderful husband. I enjoy doing most anything outdoors and like to keep myself and my children active in sports and community events. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and love what I do. I am always trying to learn and develop new hobbies and interests, as well as working to be the best person I can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it makes me happy. I am so grateful to have the knowledge that families can be with each other beyond this earthly life. No matter what happens in this life, I will have these relationships beyond the grave. That is a powerful thought. I am not on this earth merely to muddle through and get through each day in misery! I am on this earth to be happy! I want to be good and to have my life closely modeled to the Savior's. I am definitely a work in progress, and always have some character flaw I am trying to overcome in myself. I am glad that I have a perfect example of how I should be, and that is through Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I love to teach my children scripture stories and our family holds a meeting every Monday night to sing hymns, pray, read scriptures and share uplifting stories with each other. We set this Monday night apart to be with each other and nurture our family relationships. Also, I am active in church by serving the youth. Each Wednesday I go to church and help young women with spiritual/physical/emotional goals through a program called personal progress. This program helps teenage girls set worthy, righteous goals that will help them build good habits for the rest of their lives.
