Hi I'm Aurelia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 22 years old, I've been married since June 2010, and I love being a mormon! I just finished my undergrad in Piano Performance, and right now I'm applying for grad schools to get a Masters in Collaborative Piano. I ride a Yamaha XJ400 (motorcycle), I have a pink helmet and a white leather jacket, and I love to drive fast! I love vintage furniture, looking up ideas for how to decorate, and I am obsessive about throwing things away and eliminating clutter. I absolutely love to be a mormon, and I love people!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born my parents had already been members for many years, and I grew up going to church, learning about the gospel, and never questioning that it was true. As I got older, my parents encouraged me to find out for myself if the gospel was true, and develop my own personal testimony. I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed about it, and I just knew it was true. I didn't have any huge manifestation, I just knew. My mom died of cancer when I was 14, and the next couple of years were the hardest of my life, and I really had a hard time loving people, had a hard time believing that people (including God) loved me. But I never let go of my faith, I never questioned. I knew that someday I would get through it, and I did. I am so happy now, I know that God loves me, I know that my mom loves me, I know that I'll be with her again. I love Heavenly Father, and I love my family, and I'm so grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true, I know that Christ atoned for our sins and was resurrected and lives today. I know that the Lord gives revelation and inspiration to his living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and I know that families are meant to be together forever, and through the blessings of the temple, they can be sealed for eternity.

How I live my faith

I currently play the organ for worship services in my congregation, and I love it! It can be so terrifying, but I've grown so much since I started doing it, and it is wonderful to have the ability to bring the spirit into church meetings through music.
