Hi I'm Kimberly

I'm a musician. I'm a missionary. I'm a believer in doing anything you set your mind to. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Utah in a family of seven. My mom died in a car accident when I was twelve years old. It was hard, but my faith helped me through that time. That incident brought my family closer together and now they are my best friends. I have played the piano for 14 years and have written some songs. I always wanted to write songs, but for the longest time they wouldn't turn out very well. But I kept on working on it and kept on trying until finally one day I was able to write a song. Because of this and other things in my life, I'm a firm believer that you can do anything you set your mind to. I love serving others and helping them to come unto Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I still had to gain my own testimony. We always went to church and I learned a lot about Jesus Christ and the plan that our Heavenly Father has for us. When my mom died that was a trial for me. But my testimony about the plan that our Heavenly Father has for us helped me through it. I know that families are meant to be eternal and that we can live together forever. I know that because Heavenly Father loves me and every single person here on earth, he has provided us with a way to return to Him. It is through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. After my mom died, I have strived to live a good life and strengthen my testimony and faith. I have strived to serve and help others. I have read the Book of Mormon and I have prayed to know if it is true and I have received an answer for myself that it is true through the Holy Ghost. Anyone can know for themselves by reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it's true.

How I live my faith

I have strived to go to church every Sunday and other church activities throughout the week. I took Seminary classes all throughout high school and institute in college. I have strived to read the Book of Mormon and pray each day to also help strengthen my faith. I am now serving a mission in Chicago Illinois for 18 months. I get to see people change their lives for the better and come closer to Christ. As missionaries we work every day all day to serve the people we are among and to serve the Lord. Our purpose as missionaries is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. It is voluntary to serve a mission and It is a wonderful experience to see people change for the better.
