Hi I'm Trevor

I'm from Utah, I'm a martial artist and wannabe piano player. I like history, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest brother of five kids, and love being apart of an eternal family!! Growing up with two amazing parents gave me the opportunity to be blessed with the fullness of the Gospel since birth! Family means the world to me, and expanding the view of 'family' to include everyone I encounter has been a challenge, but a very rewarding one! I enjoy mountain and road biking along the beautiful Wasatch front in Utah, especially when preparing for big events like the U.L.C.E.R. and Ragnar! In addition martial arts, volleyball, and running have all been very fun and entertaining parts of my life since I was ten years old! Keeping life in perspective and focusing on things that matter have been important to me, especially when the realization hits of how precious time really is! To keep things balanced I try to include humor in life, learn 'new ways' to do things, and read a lot of books, especially history or fiction! And of course, how can life be balanced without including our Creator in it? Trying to take time and create some 'one-on-one' moments throughout life with my God has made all the difference in who I am and how I view others! ;)

Why I am a Mormon

Life really is a great gift, and living in a way that reflects that truth is important. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints contains the fullness of the Gospel, which means it can offer you the chance to feel the fullness of YOUR potential. I grew up as a Latter Day Saint due to my parents incredible testimonies. I have had the blessing of seeing the Gospels' effect on my family, and how we have been able to grow together because of it. However, my own testimony did not come from my familys' example alone. Just like nobody can rely ONLY on the merits of others, so too I realized I had to obtain my own independent witness of what others knew to be true. Utilizing the tools our Saviour has provided through prayer and scripture study, I came to a witness of the truth of the message of the Restoration.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the counsel of our Saviour in enduring to the end. :) Seeing everyone else as a true brother and sister is certainly a challenge, but is very rewarding! Trying to have the Spirit with you each day allows us to be guided in HOW you are to live the Gospel. And when we are successful we can see that living the Gospel is the best blessing of having the Gospel!
