Hi I'm Clark

I'm a son, an older brother and a nice guy. I love life! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a High School graduate. I went to work right out of high school to earn money for my mission and college. I am the oldest of 5 kids. I like the colors blue, green, and silver not in that order all the time. And I play the Tuba.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Latter-Day Saint because I know that it is true for myself. Many people say, "because you grew up in the church that's why you're a Mormon." But the truth is, no matter if you were born in the church or joined later in life, we all were converted at some point and time. For me I had many events that gave me proof that this church is true. My grandparents and few cousins have gone on missions. My grandparents were converts when my mom was 3 and she is the youngest of 7. And I have seen the blessings my grandparents have received from living the gospel- Or words/teachings of Jesus Christ. I have read the Book of Mormon for myself and have prayed about it as we are challenged in the introduction and at the end by Moroni and I have received strength to my testimony that this is the only church on this earth to have the full truth of the Doctrines of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith? Right now, I am serving a Full-time 2 year mission in the North Denver Colorado area. Other ways that I live my faith when I was and will be at home; by just doing it. Treating others as I want to be treated. Giving service to those in need. Being a good friend and co-worker and student. I live my faith by asking myself, what would Christ want me to do or want me to say. Then act on it, to be a true Christian, not only in speech or in practice but by acting as the savior would want me to act.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries will share 4-5 messages over a period of time averaging about 3-4 weeks. They are about Jesus Christ and His Atonement for all people, our Heavenly Father’s great plan of salvation, which allows all people the opportunity to return to Him, the Restoration of The Gospel of Jesus Christ which includes the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith, and lastly about the 10 commandments and some additional commandments we have recieved from modern day prophets. Latter-Day Saint Missionaries, although they have these messages to share, they are taught not to share them word for word. They will want to talk with you about many other things. Such as Your intrests, why you wanted them to visit with you, your religious background, your work, your desires and dreams, your family and so on. And by doing so, they will learn to love you and become some of your best friends. Even though the white shirt and tie create this kind of boundry that is awkward, they are normal humans just like you and me. Show more Show less
