Hi I'm Chelsea

I enjoy music, riding my bike, working in my garden, and being creative and artistic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Chelsea. I am a graphic design student. I love photography, sketching, ceramics, and pretty much any and all forms of art. I enjoy studying and learning about the gospel and gaining understanding of my purpose in life and how to live in the happiest and most helpful way. I love being outdoors camping, hiking, rock climbing, and white water rafting. I also enjoy blogging and writing. I love fashion and clothes. I enjoy eating cotton candy snow cones, and spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Lord feels our pains Sitting next to you on the floor As you finally fall to pieces after holding back for too long after trying so hard every minute to be strong but you really don't see any light ahead He's there Holding you Crying with you Knowing your pains All the while telling you He knows And that He is here next to you and he'll stay here & hold you & he knows you just want to do whats right but sometimes you can't see a way out just yet & you feel like your spirit is heavy & you don't even know why any of this had to happen & you can't be strong right now & you feel like you have nothing left to give He knows. Then when your out of tissues and the tears stop you see that he is still there, he never left you and you see that you can push through this You have to just keep going and you might get through it only if he stays with you & you KNOW you wont have to do it alone & you will get up If anything He will stand you up, and take your hand & you will go make yourself something to eat & feed your fish & he will tell you that he is here always & promise you that you will be okay & for the first time you believe it & the light will increase & your hopelessness will slowly drift away & you will be delivered out of your lonely place from a place you originally never saw a way out of & you know you will be okay He will guide you when you're lost when you sincerely pray He will give you direction if you attend the temple He will give you hope when you read the Book of Mormon He will show you the things you didn't even know you were lacking to make you happier He will love you until you almost can't bear to feel it, because it is too strong He will rescue you. All you have to do is ask & have faith. I know life gets hard, but I know that as long as I am doing the Lord's will, in his gospel, he will never leave my side & will make everything work out for my good. This knowledge is priceless to me. This lifelong love is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have gained a deep love and responsibility for taking care of the people in my ward, and outside of it. I feel as though it is up to me to make sure that the girls in my ward are happy and well. I know the Lord can help and lift all burdens, but sometimes you just need a hug and for someone to tell you your doing good! Visiting with girls in the ward is one of my favorite things to do. Service is very important to me. I try to look out for those who are suffering and lift them somehow. I try my best to live my faith by being a good friend, a helpful sister, a loving daughter and when needed a kind stranger. I appreciate my calling in the church. I am the main women who is responsible to help others in the ward when they are struggling with hard things in their life. In the gospel we are taught to love our neighbors and we try to take care of and be there for each other. It is very fulfilling and helps me be able to serve more. I know the Lord loves & provides for each of his children, sometimes you just need a physical person to be there when he cannot physically be there. I know he sends his children to answer their prayers through him, and I'm glad I get to be a little part of that!
