Hi I'm Brenda

I was born and raised in Washington State. I'm a wife and mother of 4. I teach preschool and I love photography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm a mom of 4 and can't imagine life without my kids and my eternal companion. I grew up in a teeny tiny town in Central Washington. My graduating class had a total of 44 people. Now I live in one of the most populated areas in the U.S., Southern California. Life here crazy busy and a lot of the time I'm homesick for gravel roads and the smell of hay. But no matter where I am, home is where my husband and children are. I've always been a crazy picture taking type of person and I just LOVE learning more and more about photography. I find it so exciting and I love having a hobby that challenges me to be creative and interesting. When I capture that perfect memory (whether its birthday's or REALLY bad days i.e. a 2 year old daughter getting into all my make-up) it gets me all giddy and happy (which has turned bad days into funny days). I also get crazy thrilled to learn anything new about the American Revolution. Those men and women inspire me beyond measure. I love baseball, football, reading, and singing. My secret guilty pleasure is the History Channel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was so blessed to be born to goodly parents who love the Lord. They were and continue to be such great examples to me. When I left home, the desire to continue to go to church was stronger than ever and my testimony in my Savior grew when I no longer leaned on my parents for my own personal spiritual needs. Throughout my single and married years, many trials have blocked my path. The Lord has never ceased in blessing me and although I am still experiencing these trials, my faith in my Savior comforts me and I know that my family will always been taken care of and we will never lack the necessities of life. What a blessing it is to know that I will never be forsaken! He knows me and loves me!

How I live my faith

I love, love, love working with the Youth! Those young ladies are so full of promise and faith and are so stinking much fun! They are amazing! They are faced with so many challenges and temptations today, so much more than when I was younger. They are so inspirational to me. Their strength is awe inspiring. They have more integrity than anyone I know. Plus, they keep me young;)
