Hi I'm Ian

I'm an author, singer, and actor. I grew up on the green side of Oregon. I'm a Latter-day Saint AKA Mormon.

About Me

I was pratically born and raised among the performing arts. I've been a mime, a clown, a singing telegram, a theatre techy, a main character, a supporting role, a singer, and who knows what else. I'm a reader, writer, tree-climber, and dreamer. I was homeschooled my whole life, and will be going to college to study Horticulture, Agriculture, and/or Plant Sciences.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church--well, okay, I was born in the hospital, but that's beside the point. Though I've never had doubts about the church, when I was seventeen, I decided to pray and make sure I was on the right path. After that prayer, I felt a subtle warmth. I knew that it was the Holy Ghost putting that confirmation in my heart. Now, whenever I'm feeling doubt, I think back to that night, and remember the testimony I gained at that time. Along with that testimony, as I've studied and meditated about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his teachings, I've found that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints simply makes sense. It all aligns, it all fits with the scriptural teachings, and ultimately it helps me be the best person I can be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by visiting with the members, giving service, and in general trying to help others. Along with that, I try to share my testimony and the lessons I've learned through church with those who are not Mormon.
