Hi I'm Joseph

I've been a Mormon all my life and in various parts of the world, and I wouldn't change that for anything. It's makes me...me.

About Me

I am a horticulturalist. I work with plants. I love my occupation. I rarely travel. This gives me time to be with my family every day. I am a father of 5 children and husband to wonderful wife. Life gets crazy sometimes. Well, most of the time. My family is so important to me. I also love to study the horticultural parts of the scriptures and personally apply those teachings in my life. There is a reason as to why the Lord uses words like cultivate, plant, grow, sow, prune, dung, and harvest. It is my ultimate goal to return, with my family, to that great "Husbandman" in Heaven. To sit at his feet and learn even greater lessons from him is my ultimate goal. I love speaking Spanish, computers, gaming, fishing, and friends. This is who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

Pure and simply put, I know that this church is Christ's Church. I am a Mormon and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have had multiple experiences and feelings telling me what I know is true and where the truth is found.

How I live my faith

I serve God's children as the local missionary leader. I coordinate the efforts of our ward membership in supporting the full time missionaries of our area. This is difficult but it is well worth it. I have seen the indescribable joys of some as they come to know God's whole truth and His plan for them. I was there when one of my best friends became a member of our congregation and the Church. I am also the patriarch of my family, and as such, it is my responsibility to lead my family in scripture study, family prayers, and, most importantly, being an example of the love and kindness that our Savior offers each of us. I am not perfect in this, but my children and my wife know how much I love them. For me, living the Gospel in not just a Sunday only event, but an everyday, life long process. I invite you to experience the joys I have from living a Christ centered life.
