Hi I'm Megan

I'm a wife, a daughter, an aunt, a teacher and a country dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married in 2007 and currently attend college. I grew up a devout Catholic and joined the Church in 2005 at the end of several years of searching for answers to questions that I felt weren't answered by any other church. I have one "child," a black cat named Steve, and can't wait to get to start my eternal family in the future. My friends in our branch are the best friend's I've ever had and even though we aren't family by blood, it feels like we are all family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I feel that without the Priesthood and Temple, I would be missing the purpose of my life. Families are an eternal unit and can't continue without these two essential pieces of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am the Primary President for our small branch in central Nebraska. I help teach children from the ages of 18 months to 12 years old for two hours every Sunday and every other Wednesday night for Activity Days. At home, I have daily personal and family scripture study and my husband and I complete our home and visiting teaching together. In my community, I participate in branch service projects like the food drive for the local food pantry, the road side pick up on a local highway and personal service projects like taking entertaining groups to local assisted living homes. I live my faith by following the counsel of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to follow the gospel.
