Hi I'm Alicia

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I live in Florida & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my high school sweetheart when I was 18 years old, we were sealed in the Orlando, FL Temple. Together, we have 2 beautiful children, a girl and a boy! I am a Stay at home mom, I work 3 nights a week as a Patient Care Tech at the Hospital and my husband and I both own a Media business doing photography and videography. My family means EVERYTHING to me and together, we are happier living the principles of this Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were baptized into the church when I was a baby, but had both become inactive for a very long time. When I got older, I would go to other churches with friends. I remember always wanting to be apart of a church and always feeling like my family was missing something. My dad, having been baptized into the LDS church years ago, felt the promptings of the spirit, through me, now that I was having an interest in religion. On a family vacation to Colorado one year to visit my grandparents, our family was going through some trials and tribulations during this period of time. It was then when the local missionaries stumbled upon my grandparents doorstep. They showed up at a time when we deeply needed them most. I was truly converted to this gospel, even at the young age of 11! I knew in my heart the teachings were true. I was baptized, along with my brother and stepmom. The feeling was amazing, beyond any other feeling in this world. **My Testimony of how my example led my husband to this Gospel*** When I was in my freshman year of high school, I met a guy who I soon grew to love. A guy who was not a member of the LDS church. We became close, started dating and over the course of 2 years together, I struggled with the thought of us not being of the same religion. I had my mind set on a temple marriage one day and I knew that if this guy did not believe in the LDS church, our relationship would have to come to an end. I had never pondered, prayed and searched my scriptures so much as I had during this time of my life. I truly wanted him to see the truthfulness & Joy this Gospel brings to my life! Eventually, He began taking the discussions from the missionaries, trying to throw curve balls and asking questions to prove this church false. When it was all said & done and after much praying on his part, he realized he could not prove it wrong & that in fact it was Very true! We were Sealed in the Orlando, FL Temple and now have 2 children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every single day by example. Example is the BEST way, because even those people who do not know me, know that I do not curse, drink, smoke or watch obscene movies. They know I am modest in how I dress and how I act. They see that I am happy and very goal oriented. Because of the way that I carry myself and the way I live my life, anyone around me can see that there's something about me that sets me apart from anyone else.
