Hi I'm Katie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Katie, I'm 25 years old. I graduated from college 2.5 years ago with a bachelors degree in health education. I currently work at a doctors office doing fitness and nutrition counseling. Things I enjoy to do in my spare time are singing, reading, watching movies, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was born and raised in the church. When I was younger, I lived off my parents' testimony of the church. It wasn't until I was high school/college age that I really got my very own testimony of the church. It took a lot of personal study and praying for me to find my own testimony. There were times where I really struggled when it came to trying to find out whether the gospel was true or not. But, during those times, it forced me to study and pray harder to try and find the truth out for myself. I can't tell you how many undeniable testaments from the spirit I've gotten during my periods of study and prayer. I know for a fact that the gospel is true, and I'll never be able to deny it. I stand as a witness that God and Christ live, and that the true gospel has been restored to this earth. I've witnessed the power of God in my life, and continue to witness his influence in my life daily. I know that life isn't always easy, in fact, life sometimes totally blows, but in the end, through all the turmoil and trials we face in our lives, it is totally all worth it if we can endure through the hard times, for we will be blessed for our faith and endurance.

How I live my faith

I am currently and active member in my branch here in Idaho Falls. I serve as first counselor in the Relief Society, which is a woman's organization with in the church. I love my calling, even though it can me time consuming and a little stressful sometime, I love serving my peers. I find no greater joy than in serving others.
