Hi I'm Jordin

I'm a student, a friend, a rockin awesome big sister and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the oldest of four children in my family. I love to play the flute, go shopping with my little sisters, laugh with my friends, and I always enjoy baking chocolate chip cookies. I am currently serving a mission in Rochester New York and I absolutely love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. I have read, pondered, and prayed about the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true. This is the true of Jesus Christ restored back to the Earth through a living prophet.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full time missionary in Rochester New York. Before my mission I taught other women of the Church the gospel and I sing with the church choir.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Jordin
Women in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints lead in many ways. We serve in positions that can help women to use their talents and become more self-reliant. Women don't hold the priesthood but they have been given many other ways to serve. The priesthood is not a way to have dominion and power it is provided for men to serve in the Church in a way that women do by their very natures. Show more Show less
