Hi I'm Thira

I was raised in California, USA on a farm with my parents and 3 siblings.

About Me

I am a Mother of 4 boys. I have played volleyball since I was 11 years old. I majored in Psychology and Spanish. I am a teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Catholic. After my Sister died in 1993 I began searching for what God's plan was. I found the Elders five years later on my Jesuit Volunteer Corps service mission. I have felt spiritual peace ever since I was baptized and confirmed.

How I live my faith

In Church I have served the female youth, children, and women. This service has brought me immense blessings and peace. I also have been assigned women to visit each month to care for and they have become my closest friends.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Thira
Mormon church services are spiritual, uplifting, and relaxing. The first meeting is called sacrament and is when families meet all together, second meeting we separate out into classes according to children, youth & adults, and the third meeting the men & women separate. ANYONE and EVERYONE is invited! Welcome, please come! Show more Show less
