Hi I'm Kristi

I am a wife and mother of 5. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have 5 amazing children, and I love being their mom. It is such a privilege to be raising them. I have several hobbies that I like to do in my spare time. I love listening to, playing, or singing music. I enjoy cleaning and organizing my home. I really enjoy cooking, and I love to discover new cookbooks and try new recipes. I love to exercise, especially running. I learned my love for running from my dad, who has been a runner for as long as I can remember. I enjoy hiking, biking, and being outdoors. I love to travel, see new places, and learn about different cultures and lifestyles.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church, and it has always been a blessing in my life. I have had the opportunity again and again to study the doctrine, and I have come to know for myself that this is the true church. Great blessings have come into my life from choosing to follow the Savior and the teachings taught in this church. My life hasn't been perfect, but through the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, I have learned the tools to become like Him. Having the gospel in my life has given me true peace, happiness, and joy.

How I live my faith

Each day our family starts our day with family scripture study and family prayer, and we end each day in family prayer. Once a week we meet to have a family home evening, where we sing songs, teach lessons, and share our beliefs together. We go to church each Sunday, and we support the weekly activities provided for us by our congregation. We try to do everything that we can to invite the Spirit into our home. Our strong faith in the church is the foundation for everything that we do in our family. Service is one of the greatest blessings that comes from being a member of this church. I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve in the church in several different areas, all of which have enriched my life. I have formed lasting bonds with those whom I have served and those who have served me. I currently am blessed to work with the youth ages 12-18 in my congregation. These youth are the promise for a brighter tomorrow and I see such a great future for each of them. The habits they are forming and the standards they are choosing to uphold will bring them great joy and happiness throughout their lives.
