Hi I'm Jack

I'm from Texas. I'm from New Orleans. I'm from everywhere. I'm a mormon.

About Me

My name is Jackson, and I am a missionary in the Canada Toronto Mission. I love reading, running, learning, and broadening my horizons in any way I can. I went to Brigham Young University before my mission where I studied Civil Engineering. I'm always fascinated by how things are put together, which is why I chose engineering as my field of study.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in Christ's church, for which I am eternally grateful. In Juniour High I read the Book of Mormon for the first time, and it changed the way I looked at life and my family. It continues to do so every time I read from it's pages. As a missionary, and even before my mission, I have had the privilege to work and learn around fantastic people of other faiths. I noticed growing up the positive impact gospel truths have had on me, that some of my dearest friends didn't have. So I am a member of this Church because it has brought me incalculable happiness and joy.

How I live my faith

I chose to serve a full time mission for the church when I turned 19. That doesn't make me anywhere near perfect though! I live my faith the most by trusting the Saviour to help me, guide me, and heal me spiritually. The gift of repentance and baptism are dear to my heart for what they have helped me overcome.
