Hi I'm Claudine

I'm a Latter Day Saint aka Mormon. I'm Canadian, born and raised.

About Me

I'm a single Mom, recently divorced and living alone in a big city without any family. I work as a retail employee for a drug company. In my spare time I love to read, head to the beach and the parks with my son. I love going to amusement parks, riding roller coasters and having fun with my son and friends. I haven't gone to school since High school, but I have dreams to go back soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into the church. For a few years, I chose not to go to Church. I wanted to live my life without rules or restrictions. But I found out very quickly that because of how I was raised, who I truly was, I couldn't do it. I know that the Lord had a quick hand in placing me in situations to make me realize what I was doing was not of Him. How I was behaving wasn't His way. I chose to come back very quickly. My life has always been difficult, but because of the teachings from the gospel, my family, and the Book of Mormon, I know I am where I belong. Through every tough decision, loss, sacrifice, I have felt the Lord's loving hand in my heart and life. I have felt alone, but I have knelt down in prayer, asking for guidance and felt the comfort from His love, and I've felt his friendship and companionship at my lowest. I know that every obstacle, every trial is only given because He knows I can handle it. I may not see it, but the Lord has a beautiful path for me that I have the faith to know He has a wonderful plan for me. I cannot ever again leave this Church knowing the truth of it, having felt His love so many times, and having had so many of my prayers answered. I believe so much in this Church. I LOVE my Saviour and Heavenly Father beyond belief and am grateful for the joy They bring into my life. I love the guidance The Book of Mormon gives me as I struggle through my toughest moments. I love that I can teach my son the truth of this gospel and hear him sing songs of the Saviour and in his prayers hear him thank his Heavenly Father for his Mom and always asking for a hug from Them. I love this gospel. I love my Lord and Saviour. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

How I live my faith

Everyday I head out with my head held high knowing I am a daughter of God. I try to go out of my way to help others in need, help friends or give service when asked. I teach my son that Heavenly Father is always listening, always in his heart and can comfort and help him if he only asks. I show my friends that I have standards and have watched as they try to change their language, their speech or make changes in their plans so that I can be included as they know my choices I've made. Every morning I say a family prayer, read my scriptures and get that spirit that helps me get through the day with a smile on my face. It doesn't hurt that I do ask if there's any thing I can do to spread the Lord's wishes, He lets me know. I am proud to say I am a Mormon. I am proud of being a Member and I live my life to show that and let them feel the pride I feel of my Saviour.
