Hi I'm Jaclyn

I grew up in California. I am a wife, a mom, a blogger, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 25 year old wife, and a mother to 2 (a boy and a girl) whom I stay home with. I have my associates degree in Family Studies. I have 3 brothers and am the second oldest. I love to dance, read, blog, cook, and bake. I love the outdoors, going on dates with my husband, and spending time with my family! I grew up in California, and now live in Idaho. I always thought I would move back to California, but I have grown to love Idaho and don't want to leave!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the LDS church has brought peace and clarity into my life which has resulted into my happiness. I know that I am on this earth to gain a body and to be tested so I can grow as a person and become more like my Savior. I know that I nor anyone else is perfect, and that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can repent and be forgiven. I know that I am loved by my Heavenly Father; that he knows me individually and that He has a plan for me. I know that there is life after death. I know that families can be forever!

How I live my faith

I love to serve others whenever I can. I like to bring treats to new neighbors to say hello or to other neighbors just because. I love to bring dinners to those who are sick, or have just had a baby. I like to babysit for parents who need a night out to themselves. Every month I go and visit two girls to share an uplifting message to them and to see how they are doing. I not only see them once a month, but I become their friend and I'm interested in what they are doing and what is going on with their life. I do Indexing, which is turning physical records of ancestors into electronic records so they are searchable on the Family Search site. This is very important for family history work. Even though my son is young, I teach him what is right and wrong. I teach him about our Savior, Jesus Christ, and His life and how we should always be striving to be like Him.
