Hi I'm Kory Jane

I'm a Mormon. I have moved all over the U.S. and come from a long line of mormons. I love to run marathons.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of four kids. Who says a stay at home mom is not a full time job? I love to run early in the mornings. I have done 2 half marathons and 1 full marathon. I plan on doing many more in the years to come. I love to hang out at the lake with the kids and go on historical vacations with the family. I have been married 12 wonderful years to my best friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long line of Mormons. My so many great grandfather was converted and knew Joseph Smith. I have read the Book of Mormon and also my grandfathers personal testimony and biography. I know what I have read is true and I also feel at peace when I am following the principles of the Gospel. Why would I not want to be a Mormon when it brings such peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I am in the Relief Soceity in my Ward. I organize our Relief Soceity Activities and it does take a lot of time. but it is so rewarding when the sisters come and have fun and learn. As you watch people grow it makes your calling all worth it. Just going to church every Sunday and keeping the commandments sets such a strong example for my children to follow.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Kory Jane
Our lives here on earth are based around families. We came from a family with a loving Heavenly Father and our Brother Jesus Christ. Now we are here to learn to be parents and be part of a loving family. The best part is our families stay with us even after we die. We believe in eternal families and that is so very important to me. I can't imagine dying and not being part of my family anymore. Why spend all this mortal time to get to know and love someone and then not get to be with them anymore? It just makes sense that our families can be eternal if we have the proper authority to seal us. Show more Show less
