Hi I'm Dallin

I'm a guitarist. A Unckle of 18. A Missionary in the London South Mission. And I'M A MORMON!!! :)

About Me

I live in the mountains about 30 miles north of Dundee in Scotland. I'm currently serving as a missionary in the England London South Mission. Back home I loved to play guitar, hang out with friends, play computer games, listen to music, play rugby (when i could), watch awsome movies and sometimes be out and about in the hills doing survival stuff. I'm the youngest of 6. I still live at home with mum and dad. I'm an uncle to 18 nieces and nephews. I love the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and i grew up through primary and youth. When i was younger a lot of the time i found it a bit boring. But because of the example and love of my parents for me i kept coming to church and as i got older my testimony grew. There was never a defining moment for me that led me to know that the church was true. My testimony has grown gradually over the years. I've had some experiances in my life that are little reminders that my Heavenly Father loves me and wants the best for me. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he died to save me. I know this to be true without the shadow of a doubt. I know that once again God has restored his true gospel back onto the earth through a living prophet. And that he is there to help and guide us. This church is true. And i wouldn't be on a mission, giving up 2 years of my life if i din't know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I take life a day as it comes. Some days can be harder than others. But we all experiance trials at some point. Back home i used to get involved in youth activities, camps, conventions and when possible talent shows so i could play guitar. Its so much fun. The people in the church are so friendly no matter where you go. There's always a sense of belonging and family unity when you attend church and church activities. As a missionary, I go out to share the gospel with others. To invite them to feel the happiness and joy I feel from living the gospel. Its blessed my life so much and i'm so thankfull for the oppurtunity my Heavenly Father has given me to share this gospel with the rest of his children.

What is being a Mormon like?

Dallin
Its the best thing I've ever experianced. It gives me a purpose in life. It helps me know that there is more to this life. It has helped me come to know that my family and i can be together after this life. Yes there are a few qualifications that we have to meet to receive that blessing, but when compared to what the outcome will be, it makes it so much easier to stay away from those things like tea, coffee, alchohol, drugs etc. Its made me who I am and I love it. :) Show more Show less
