Hi I'm Jamie

I grew up in Wisconsin. I am a mother of three very active, fun loving, silly boys, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mother of three boys. I enjoy spending time at the beach, exploring parks and watching my children discover new things. I love BBC movies and classic english novels. I haven't had the opportinity to go to college yet, but I would enjoy studing english and creative writing. I don't care for bugs, great heights, or the dark, but I have a husband who doesn't mind those things. I guess I feel pretty balanced with him by my side.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I had so many questions about why we're here, where we came from and where we will go after this life. It wasn't until I met the missionaries that I found real answers to those questions. I never imagined I would be a mormon. I was even a little hesitant to go to Church, but when I felt the Spirit and recoginized basic gospel truths, it was hard to stay away. My parents were concerned for me at the time, they didn't believe I was making the best choice, joining the church. It wasn't until they saw what a great difference the restored gospel made in my life, then something wonderful happened. After three years of being a member, they too decided to be baptised. Now we are an eternal family!

How I live my faith

Right now I have the opportinity to serve as a missionary for our church. I help the full-time missionaries find those in our area that are asking the same questions I did. I love being able to serve as a missionary. Watching and listening to non-members and other members talk about and learn the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is exciting! I've always wanted to be a missionary. There is something wonderful about this gospel, it has to be feeling the Spirit as I meet and get to know other's who share my own beliefs in Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.
